"Mike England now has his own Company, Forward Solutions. In mid 2007, when he was working for the firm Investor Finance, we approached him because of a chance reference from a colleague in the Surfers Paradise region, Queensland Australia. Our aim was to secure the refinancing of our property portfolio (valued at over four million dollars) in Taupo and Auckland. When our Accountant was advised that we were considering the possibility of asking Mr England to recommend a plan she was adamant that he “would not have the expertise nor business experience to be able to sort out our ‘complicated’ finances” and would be suited only to simple, domestic solutions. Nevertheless, we persisted in keeping him in the loop and providing him with all our details, just in case he arrived at a feasible solution.
Mike showed initiative from the start and the result was that he devised a Financial Plan which was both innovative and sound, and much better than any other plan using traditional accountants’ and banks’ refinancing ideas. The upshot now in December 2008, over a year into the practicalities of his Plan, we find that his financial infrastructure is standing the test of the conditions we face in these present tempestuous global conditions. His wisdom is impressive and his personality pleasant and warm, engendering confidence in us.
